Some people need to lighten up

Regarding a certain Live Journal post. I can't believe how many people got hot around the collar at one guy for wearing a robot helmet at an "OMGZ TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL MEDIA EVENT CAPS!" I was under this strange impression that gaming was about having fun. Doug, gamepolitics and all the people who agree with them have their heads so far up their ass and their ties on too tight.
For the 3 of you who have read this post I say you make Destructoid a new staple of your gaming diet.
